Oscar-winning actress Ellen Burstyn and Josh Pence ("The Dark Knight Rises") will join Kevin Costner and Jennifer Garner in the NFL-sanctioned football movie "Draft Day," which is a co-production between Summit Entertainment and OddLot Entertainment.
Ivan Reitman is directing from a Black List-topping script by Rajiv Joseph and Scott Rothman.
Costner stars as the general manager of the Cleveland Browns, who finds himself at odds with a new head coach played by Denis Leary.
Burstyn will play Costner's mother, while Pence will play the expected first pick in the NFL draft.
"Draft Day" will be shooting at the upcoming NFL Draft on April 25 at Radio City Music Hall.
Burstyn recently starred in "Another Happy Day" and has wrapped the indie thriller "The Calling" with Susan Sarandon and Topher Grace. She'll soon be seen alongside Mackenzie Foy in "Wish You Well," based on the novel by David Baldacci, as well as Rachid Bouchareb's "Enemy Way."
Pence has worked with David Fincher and Christopher Nolan, having played the body of Tyler Winklevoss in "The Social Network" and young Ra's Al Ghul in "The Dark Knight Rises." He also appeared in WB's "Gangster Squad" and Paramount's "Fun Size."
Burstyn is repped by Innovative Artists and the Schiff Company, while Pence is repped by WME and Anonymous Content.
