The Biography Channel will air a two-hour look at Elizabeth Taylor's life on Thursday, and Turner Classic Movies will run a 24-hour tribute marathon of her films on Sunday, April 10.
The tributes are but the first announced for the screen legend, who died Wednesday at 79.

The BIO Channel's "BIO Remembers: Elizabeth Taylor," will include interviews with friends and colleagues including Roddy McDowall, Robert Wagner and Michael Jackson.
It will air Thursday at Thursday at 8 p.m. ET, 7 p.m. CT, and 9 p.m. PT.
TCM's April 10 marathon will begin at 6 a.m. ET/PT with an airing of the 1943 film "Lassie Come Home." It will conclude with a 4 a.m. airing of the 1952 film "Ivanhoe" the following morning. Both of Taylor's Oscar-winning performances, in "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" and "Butterfield 8," will also be aired during the tribute.
The Fox Movie Channel, meanwhile, will air a marathon of Taylor's landmark 1963 film "Cleopatra" on March 27. The marathon, which will begin at 6 a.m. ET, will include a special episode of "Fox Legacy," during which 21st Century Fox chairman and CEO Tom Rothman will discuss the making of "Cleopatra" and the impact that the film had on Taylor's life.
