The half-hour comedy, which was written by Bill Martin and Mike Schiff ("Grounded for Life") and is being directed by Andy Cadiff ("Home Improvement," "Hot in Cleveland"), is inspired by ESPN personality Colin Cowherd’s outspoken sports talk show.

The cast also includes "Dirt" actor Danny Comden.

Since the 2010 cancellation of "Dollhouse," Dushku has recently guest-starred on "The Big Bang Theory."

News of Dusku's casting was first reported by Deadline.
