Eastwood Honored in France

Oscar winner will be awarded Commander of the French Legion of Honor.

Clint Eastwood will add "commander of the French Legion of Honor" to his many awards and accolades on Friday in a ceremony in Paris presided by French President Nicolas Sarkozy.

The 79-year-old actor, composer and filmmaker will receive one of the country’s greatest honors — and with the title of "commander," above those traditionally given to foreign directors and beloved talent, namely the titles of "knight" or "officer."
