Earthquake Interrupts KTLA’s Live Broadcast: Anchors Dive Under Desk (Video)

This is not a drill – but it is what viral videos are made of

Los Angeles felt a 4.4 magnitude earthquake on Monday morning, and KTLA anchors Megan Henderson and Chris Schauble were caught in the middle of it on live television.

During their unintentionally hilarious reaction (above), the morning news anchors dove under their desk after Schauble’s facial expression declared, “Earthquake,” before his mouth did.

The newscast’s Hollywood studio, located on Sunset Blvd., was visibly shaken, so their priceless reaction was completely warranted, and demonstrated proper precautionary procedure for any viewers who did not have the luxury of earthquake safety drills in grade school.

KTLA, apparently, found Schauble’s reaction as amusing as us, and even highlighted his “many faces” during the quake.
