Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Officiates Wedding for Super Fan While Promoting ‘San Andreas’ (Video)

The movie star becomes an ordained minister to help marry longtime fan Nick Mundy

A wedding has never been more “Fast & Furious.”

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson became an ordained minister in order to officiate the surprise wedding of his longtime fan and ScreenJunkies correspondent Nick Mundy.

Mundy thought he would be appearing in a taped segment with Johnson for the “San Andreas” press junket. Instead, Johnson pulled him into a hotel ball room filled with family, friends and his fiancée.

The ScreenJunkies team gave Mundy a suit coat to wear, to offset the American flag pants he was wearing, and the ceremony was underway.

“Nothing is more powerful than your union,” Johnson, who leads the cast of the earthquake disaster movie from Warner Bros., said during the ceremony. “It carries more force than a bolt of lightning or even the world’s largest earthquake, much like the one you’ll see in ‘San Andreas’ when it hits theaters May 29.”
