One of the weirdest recurring sketches on Jimmy Fallon‘s “Tonight Show” was made much better by the inclusion of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. He sat opposite Fallon for another installment of “Intense Staredown,” where they don’t say anything but rather let their strange voice-overs share their deepest thoughts.
“I am the pebble, I am the stone, I am the boulder, I am The Rock,” Johnson said at one point, giving his signature eyebrow raise from his wrestling days.
Other musings from the pair included the pronunciation of potato, wetting one’s pants and the power of mistletoe.
“If we unda dat mistletoe,” Johnson said, “We gotsta get our freak on.”
Things took a weird turn when Fallon’s voice-over addressed the viewers directly, asking if they wanted to see him blink a thousand times in three seconds.
Let’s call it a weird-er turn. This whole thing is pretty weird.
