HBO announced the premiere date for two of its popular comedies Thursday.
Season 4 of Dwayne Johnson’s “Ballers” and Season 3 of Issa Rae’s “Insecure” will premiere on Sunday, Aug. 12, at 10 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., respectively.
On the new season of “Ballers,” Spencer (Johnson) and Joe (Rob Corddry) make the move to the left coast to take on Los Angeles.
“L.A. can be a dark place, brother,” Spencer says prophetically in the first look trailer (watch it above). We’re treated to plenty of SoCal shots full of palm trees, mansions and beaches as the business buddies hash out a new plan to become media titans.
