Drake Gets Physical with a Cheesecake in His ‘Child’s Play’ Video (Video)

The music superstar “takes the cake” from Tyra Banks in his new 12-minute video

Look out Beyonce — Drake just one-upped you!

Sunday is proving to be a clash of the music superstar titans. Who but two of the most popular performers currently on the scene, would each release new music videos in the middle of a three-day holiday weekend?

Only Drake and Beyonce, right?

Although currently on tour, Drake dropped a 12-minute music video for “Child’s Play,” a standout piece from his multi-Platinum album “Views.” (Check it out above.) Beyonce’s five-minute, 16-second “Hold Up” video is also now available online.

Drake‘s Apple Music release is like an episode of a primetime soap with supermodel-actress-talk-show-host Tyra Banks playing Drake‘s cheated on girlfriend. A public display of anger does not end well for Drake, who has a close (and messy) encounter with a decadent dessert.

For those who like to see Drake and not just hear him — which is, like, everybody — he and director Anthony Mandler are releasing a short film, “Please Forgive Me,” on Sept. 30.

Beyonce posted “Hold Up” to YouTube on Sunday and it immediately was pummeled with page views. “Hold Up” is the second snippet from “Lemonade” to post to YouTube after “Sorry,” which has garnered nearly 110 million views since it was first shared in June.
