"Jersey Shore" guide Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino might not have fared so well at the dais during Tuesday night's "Comedy Central Roast of Donald Trump," but the event itself was a big hit with viewers, Comedy Central announced today.
The 10:30 p.m. premiere became Comedy Central's most-watched "Roast" ever, drawing a 2.21 rating in the adults 18-49 demo, and 3.5 million total viewers.
The premiere also helped to make for the most-watched Tuesday primetime (8 to 11 p.m.) for Comedy Central ever, with an average 1.13 rating in the adults 18-49 demo and average 1.8 million viewers for its primetime.
In addition to the roast, Comedy Central's primetime programming roster also included "Onion Sportsdome" at 8 p.m., and multiple episodes of "Tosh 2.0" from 8:30 to 10:30 (with a new episode at 10 p.m.).
