Donald Trump Bashes Megyn Kelly Again: ‘She Must Have Had a Terrible Vacation’

The ceasefire between Donald Trump and Megyn Kelly is well and truly over, as the GOP presidential candidate came out with (social media) guns blazing on Monday.

“Megyn Kelly must have had a terrible vacation, she is really off her game. Was afraid to confront Dr. Cornel West. No clue on immigration!” he tweeted while watching her Fox News show. “I liked ‘The Kelly File’ much better without @megynkelly. Perhaps she could take another eleven day unscheduled vacation!”

Kelly has been off the air since Aug. 12, but Trump was quick to go on a Twitter tirade upon her return, retweeting a post calling Monday’s show “a waste of an hour on Fox” and others describing her as a bimbo and looking like Nancy Grace.

Trump also bashed Republican rival Jeb Bush after Kelly tweeted that Bush thought his immigration ideas were “unrealistic” and not “conservative.”

“Jeb Bush never uses his last name on advertising, signage, materials etc. Is he ashamed of the name BUSH? A pretty sad situation. Go Jeb!” Trump wrote.

Trump has gone after Kelly ever since the Aug. 6 Republican presidential primary debate, where he said she asked unfair questions.

Speaking to CNN’s Don Lemon the following day, Trump complained about Kelly’s questions and joked that she had “blood flowing from her wherever,” which many took to be a reference to her menstrual cycle. Trump later claimed that he was not joking about menstruation.

Kelly fired back at the outspoken real estate mogul by refusing to apologize for the way she handled the debate.

“Trump, who is the frontrunner, will not apologize, and I certainly will not apologize for doing good journalism. So I’ll continue doing my job without fear or favor,” Kelly said
