New “Doctor Strange” photos show Benedict Cumberbatch training to become the next Sorcerer Supreme.
Marvel released two images on Tuesday — one shows Strange (Cumberbatch) sitting with the Ancient One (Tilda Swinton). The other gives us a glimpse of hisย powers.
The film followsย Dr. Stephen Strange,ย a brilliant but egotistical surgeon who travels the world to restore his skills after a car accident leaves him unable to operate.
Duringย his travels, he meets the Ancient One, who teaches himย the ways of magic in order to protect the Earth from a host of mystical foes.
The film also stars Chiwetel Ejioforย as Baron Mordo, Rachel McAdams, Benedict Wong and Benjamin Bratt.
