ABC Family has teamed up with nonprofit organization FosterMore for a PSA promoting Foster Awareness Month, which will run throughout the month of May.
The 30-second spot, called “I am Amazing,” was released April 30. The informative and inspiring ad reveals that 70 percent of children in the foster system aspire to graduate from college. ABC Family’s “The Fosters,” executive produced by Jennifer Lopez, also cut their very own spot featuring stars of the popular series, including Teri Polo, Sherri Saum, Maia Mitchell and David Lambert.

The PSAs encourage individuals to reach out to foster children — for both mentoring and parenting. Proceeds from the campaign will benefit Foster Care to Success, another nonprofit that focuses on providing educational opportunities to foster youth.
