Anonymous Content named David Pritikin as the head of its newly created unscripted television content division.

Pritikin previously served as Discovery Channel’s Production and Development senior executive producer. While there, he executive produced Emmy-winning series “Deadliest Catch” and “Bering Sea Gold.”

“David has produced some of the most successful, compelling unscripted series out there,” Anonymous founder, Steve Golin, said in a statement. “His relationships in the industry are unparalleled and will be essential to our efforts to expand our television business.”

The company will announce additional new hires in the coming weeks.

Before joining Anonymous, Pritikin also worked as a producer on the first 15 seasons of CBS’s “Survivor” and on one season of NBC’s hit singing competition, “The Voice.”

“I couldn’t be more thrilled to join the team at Anonymous Content,” Pritikin said. “I’m looking forward to continuing the great standards of storytelling that Anonymous Content is known for.”

Anonymous currently produces HBO’s “True Detective,” Cinemax’s “The Knick” and the upcoming hacker-drama “Mr. Robot” on USA Network.
