Dick Clark Productions, producer of events including the Golden Globe Awards, the American Music Awards and the Billboard Awards, has launched a new international division and appointed Mark Rafalowski as executive vice president.
Rafalowski will be responsible for growing Dick Clark Productions International’s foreign distribution and content development network, reporting directly to Dick Clark Productions president Mike Mahan.
Rafalowski, who served as senior vice president of business development for Dick Clark Productions in the late 1990s, more recently served as the chief operating officer for Radical Studios, where he created IP in the graphic novel world and developed it for feature films and television. He also was the president of Rive Gauche Television, where he expanded that company’s business to include new productions such as “The Dog Whisperer With Cesar Milan,” “Whacked Out Sports” and “Pitbulls and Parolees.”
