Diamond & Silk: Whoopi Goldberg Should ‘Try’ Waterboarding Before She Criticizes It

“If she want to try what waterboarding feels like, why don’t she do it,” says an irate Diamond on the set of “Fox & Friends”

Diamond & Silk offered some blunt advice for Whoopi Goldberg on Friday. Don’t knock waterboarding until you try it.

“Why don’t Whoopi Goldberg try it. She need to try respecting the President of the United States is what she need to try to do,” said an irate Diamond on the set of “Fox & Friends.”

“If she want to try what waterboarding feels like, why don’t she do it.” she continued, and went on to argue that Goldberg should support Gina Haspel, Donald Trump’s nominee to led the CIA, because she was a woman.

“Wouldn’t she be the first woman in this position?” Diamond added.  “You should be championing this woman who is going to get this high position.”

The moment came about after the cast of the popular Fox News morning show played footage of Goldberg from “The View” on Thursday, where she slammed Trump and Haspel, and insisted that if President Trump ever underwent enhanced interrogation techniques himself, he might not be so favorably predisposed to them.

“I think people who have actually been tortured, who are saying this is not a good thing, you should listen to them because you have never been tortured and neither has Dick Cheney,” Goldberg said.

Once confined to more obscure corners of the internet, Diamond & Silk saw their profiles rise during the 2016 presidential campaign, serving as quasi-surrogates for Trump before he took the White House. The pair has testified before the House Judiciary Committee, engaged in a lacerating public spat with Facebook and their Twitter account is one of just 45 that President Trump follows on the platform.
