“Desperate Housewives” star Eva Longoria will appear on a three-episode arc of Fox’s “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” opposite Andy Samberg.
In the show’s second season, Longoria will appear as Sophia, a defense attorney who faces off against Samberg’s Jake in court while catching his attention in the process.

Longoria joins other season 2 guest stars including Kyra Sedgwick, who will appear in two episodes as the longtime nemesis of Captain Ray Holt (Andre Braugher), former NFL wide receiver Terrell Owens, appearing as himself, and Jenny Slate, who will appear in the season premiere.
Longoria, best known for her role as Gabrielle on ABC’s “Desperate Housewives,” also currently serves as an executive producer on Lifetime soap “Devious Maids.” She is repped by CAA and Brillstein Entertainment.
