“Deadpool 2” stars Ryan Reynolds and Josh Brolin took their on-screen relationship to the next level during an episode of BBC Radio 1’s “Playground Insults.”
Reynolds had the serve and started with, “Josh, you are a muffin-snuggling pirate-puncher,” to which Brolin responded, “that’s your insult?”
“Muffin-smuggling?” Reynolds corrected.
“Here’s my insult… Ryan, that was really funny,” Brolin joked.
“You’re so old, you make dust look like a baby,” Reynolds said back.
Brolin then told Reynolds he has “no talent” before addressing the elephant in the room: Green Lantern.
“Let’s talk about the obvious thing… ‘Green Lantern,’” Brolin said. “End of career, and yet you are still going. Why? None of us can understand it!”
Reynolds didn’t go down without a fight, insulting Brolin’s performance in “The Goonies” as being so bad that people “punch themselves in the d— for five straight minutes.”
Ultimately, Brolin declared himself as the winner because he’s a “general, primitive, insulting guy.”
“I feel genuinely hurt,” Reynolds added.
“Deadpool 2” will hit theaters on Friday.
