David Madden has signed a new long-term contract with 20th Century Fox Television, where he’ll remain as president of Fox Television Studios.
Madden has been in the role since 2010, reporting to 20th CEOs Dana Walden and Gary Newman.
Fox Television Studios is one of two cable production arms of the studio, along with Fox 21, which is headed by Bert Salke.

“David encourages creators to take big swings, and the results have been breakthrough programs, from ‘The Shield’ and ‘The Killing’ to ‘Burn Notice’ and ‘The Americans,’” Walden and Newman said in a statement. “He’s a smart, strategic leader who is beloved by both the creative community and his colleagues. We couldn’t be happier that he’ll be with us for many years to come.”
Fox Television Studios’ current series includes “The Americans” for FX, “The Killing” for Netflix, “White Collar,” “Graceland,” “Sirens” and the recently green-lit “Complications” — all for USA — as well as “Maron” for IFC.
