David Letterman is about to find himself in unfamiliar territory in the CBS late-night landscape: the guest’s seat.

Letterman, who will end his decades-long run as host of CBS’s “The Late Show” in May, will appear as a guest on “The Late Late Show” on Tuesday, Jan. 27.

In the interim between former host Craig Ferguson‘s departure in December and the premiere of his replacement, James Corden, in March, revolving guest hosts are filling in. While Judd Apatow is guest-hosting Thursday and Friday, Regis Philbin will man the desk on Monday and Tuesday.

Also appearing on Tuesday’s episode: Martha Stewart and CBS sportscaster Tracy Wolfson.
