The Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist will run a twice-weekly tax column and provide TV and business commentaries

Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and author David Cay Johnston will be joining the team at Reuters next month.

According to a Reuters press release, Johnston will write a twice-weekly tax column, as well as provide TV and business commentaries.

A veteran journalist, Johnston received the Pulitzer in 2001 for his investigation on evasions in the U.S. tax code.

He spent 13 years as a tax reporter with The New York Times, working to uncover shady dealings at the United Way, Enron, and by Donald Trump.

His latest work includes a column at the weekly trade journal "Tax Notes," as well as a distinguished visiting lectureship at the Syracuse University College of Law and Whitman School of Management.

Johnston’s column is launching the week of July 5 and will appear on the new Thomson Reuters News & Insight resource for tax and accounting professionals as well as the Reuters wire and reuters.com, according to executive editor Amy Stevens.
