Dave Chappelle’s new Netflix comedy special was taped in November and doesn’t drop until New Year’s Eve — but some new bits from it are already available. Well, unless you’re a fan of President Trump’s, that is.
In an NSFW teaser from Chappelle’s upcoming special, “Equanimity,” the comedian waxes on about the “poor whites” who voted Trump into office.
“I’ve never had a problem with white people ever in my life, but, full disclosure, poor whites are my least favorites. We’ve got a lot of trouble out of them. And I’ve never seen so many of them up close,” Chappelle says, commenting on the “decent folk” who admire the president.
“I stood with them in line … and I listened to them say naive, poor white people things,” the comedian added of how the voters thought Trump would help them. “I’m standing there, thinking in my mind, ‘You dumb motherf—–. You are poor. He’s fighting for me.’ “
“Equanimity” premieres on Netflix on Dec. 31.
