Antonio Sabato Jr. has the distinct honor of being Cheryl Burke’s last dancing partner on ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars.”
“It’s incredible,” the dimpled star told TheWrap after Tuesday night’s star-studded finale. “I’m the last dancer to dance with Cheryl.”
As the TheWrap exclusively reported, Burke, who joined the show in its second season, decided to leave the dance reality competition after this season.
“This show is going to miss her,” Sabato Jr. said. “I’m going to miss dancing with her.”
Burke, 30, was eliminated along with Sabato Jr. on Week 5 in late-October. She’s the show’s first female pro to win two consecutive mirror-ball trophies.
Alfonso Ribeiro, Carltoned his way into America’s heart this season, winning Tuesday’s two-hour finale. Sadie Robertson placed second, while Janel Parrish settled for a third place finish.
“Dancing With the Stars” will return to celebrate its 10th anniversary with its 20th season in 2015.
