Longtime CNN correspondent Dan Lothian is the latest to leave its ranks.
“It is true,” Lothian told TheWrap on Saturday when asked if he had left the network.
“We wish Dan all the best,” said a spokeswoman for the channel.

Lothian joined CNN in 2003 from NBC News and became a White House correspondent in 2008. His departure comes just a week after reports that Jessica Yellin, also a longtime CNN Washington reporter, had also left the network. Contributor Ari Fleischer has also left.
Yellin’s Twitter profile still lists her as a CNN correspondent, but she hasn’t tweeted since Sept. 29; Lothian has already changed his handle and biography to reflect that he is no longer associated with the network.
It’s not all cuts and losses at CNN, though: Bill Weir left ABC News for an anchor position at the cable channel on Oct. 11.
TVNewser was the first to report on Lothian’s departure.
