Fox brought down the humor hammer on Wednesday, canceling “Dads,” “Enlisted” and “Surviving Jack” in one fell swoop.
Additionally, the network passed on comedy pilots “No Place Like Home,” “Fatrick” and “Dead Boss.”
Discussion continues around remaining pilots “Sober Companion” and “Cabot College,” the network said. “Sober Companion” stars Justin Long and Nick Frost, “Cabot College” is produced by Tina Fey.

Seth MacFarlane‘s “Dads,” which starred Seth Green and Giovanni Ribisi, started off with controversy before the pilot even aired, and ended with series low ratings — including a 1.0 in the advertiser-sought 18-49 demographic.
“Enlisted,” which starred Geoff Stults, also saw its share of criticism — though that was surrounding the plot. As a Friday show, it never exactly raked in the big numbers either.
“Surviving Jack,” the Chris Meloni vehicle and most recent of the now-defunct comedies, drew a 1.0 rating its last few times out.

“No Place Like Home” was the once-untitled Ricky Blitt project, which Johnny Galecki was slated to exec produce. “Dead Boss” starred Jane Krakowski and was a Jim Rash-Nat Faxon project.
Earlier this week, Fox ordered “Gotham,” “Red Band Society” and “Empire” to series. The network also added 10 more episodes to the “Mulaney” order, bringing the total to 16.
