The CW has set midseason premiere dates for its new and returning series, including “Black Lightning,” “iZombie,” “Life Sentence” and “The Originals.”

The newest show in The CW’s ever-growing lineup of DC Comics adaptations, “Black Lightning” will bow on Tuesday, Jan. 16 at 9 p.m. following the return of “The Flash.”

The other new midseason offering, the Lucy Hale-led dramedy “Life Sentence,” will premiere on Wednesday, March 7 at 9 p.m. with a “Riverdale” lead-in.

“Dynasty” became The CW’s only surviving new fall offering when the network opted not to pick up “Valor” for a full season last year, but the primetime soap reboot will move to Friday nights beginning April 20, airing at 8 p.m.
