NBC’s “Crowded” landed the primo post-“Voice” slot Tuesday, when their host network topped prime time in the key 18-49 demographic. Two episodes of the Patrick Warburton sitcom performed all right, though they proved to be no “Little Big Shots.”
CBS topped total viewers, thanks to powerhouse “NCIS.”
During the 10 p.m. hour, ABC’s “Of Kings and Prophets” mustered just a 0.5 rating/2 share, which was even behind Telemundo and Univision in the advertiser-coveted demo.
NBC was first in ratings with a 2.3 rating/8 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and second in total viewers with an average of 9.4 million, according to preliminary numbers. “The Voice” at 8 scored a 2.7/9 and 11.1 million viewers. At 10, the series premiere of “Crowded” posted a 1.8/6 and 6.8 million viewers. At 10:30, a second episode slipped to a 1.4/5 and 5.3 million viewers.
CBS was second in ratings with a 1.5/5 and first in viewers with 10.8 million. “NCIS” at 8 earned a 2.0/7 and 14.8 million viewers. At 9, “NCIS: New Orleans” had a 1.6/5 and 11.8 million viewers. “Limitless” at 10 got a 1.1/4 and 5.9 million viewers.
ABC was third in ratings with a 0.8/3 and in viewers with 3.1 million. “Fresh Off the Boat” at 8 posted a 1.1/4 and 4.2 million viewers. “The Real O’Neals” at 8:30 received a 1.0/4 and 3.6 million viewers. At 9, “Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD” managed a 1.0/3 and 2.9 million viewers. “Of Kings and Prophets” followed with just 2.4 million viewers.
Fox was fourth in ratings with a 0.7/3 and in viewers with 1.8 million. “New Girl” at 8 had a 1.0/4 and 2.3 million viewers. A rerun followed. “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” at 9 got a 0.8/3 and 2 million viewers. At 9:30, “The Grinder” put up a 0.6/2 and 1.6 million viewers.
Univision was fifth in ratings with a 0.6/2 and in viewers with 1.7 million.
Telemundo was sixth in ratings with a 0.5/2 and in viewers with 1.4 million.
The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.3/1 and in viewers with 903,000, airing just repeats.
