Audiences loved watching Michael B. Jordan triumph in “Creed,” but now they can see him get knocked out behind the scenes.
Sylvester Stallone, who garnered critical acclaim for reprising the role of Rocky Balboa in the latest entry in the franchise, took to Twitter on Wednesday to share a quick video shot on set while filming the climactic fight between the eponymous boxer and his heavyweight opponent, ‘Pretty’ Ricky Conlan.
In the video, Jordan takes a punch from Conlan, who is played by real-life boxer Tony Bellew. According to Stallone, Jordan was “KO’d for real!”
“But he got up and did it again! That’s called guts,” the actor tweeted.
It actually appears to be a very well rehearsed, choreographed punch — but that’s just this guy’s opinion.
Watch the video below to judge for yourself how much it may have hurt.
