Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are going to have the “wedding of the century” and it’s all thanks to TV personalities Cord Hosenbeck and Tish Cattigan.
Oh, sorry, for those of you who still haven’t gotten the joke from New Year’s Day, where “Cord and Tish” (Will Ferrell and Molly Shannon respectively) hosted a live special for Funny Or Die and Amazon Prime covering the Rose Bowl Parade. Their quippy one-liners and off-the-cuff remarks added spice to the event, and now the duo will cover the nuptials between Harry and Markle live on HBO.
And they appeared on Thursday’s “Tonight Show” to give host Jimmy Fallon a little taste of what viewers can expect when they tune in on May 19, including an original song they crafted as a gift to the couple.
“Far off in a fairyland where lords and ladies dance/ There lived a sad and lonely prince who dreamed of true romance/ From a land across the mighty sea, a lovely maiden came/ She was a true American, and Meghan was her name.”
Hopefully, viewers watching the coverage on the premium cable network this weekend get the joke this time around, as Amazon faced some serious backlash in January from those who did not and gave it horrible reviews.

“The Royal Wedding Live With Cord and Tish! will air on HBO on Saturday, May 19 at 7:30 a.m. ET and will be rebroadcast in prime time at 9:45 p.m. ET.
