If Jay Leno didn't watch Conan O'Brien's appearance on "The Late Show With David Letterman" last night, his ears had to be burning, as he was the two late-night hosts' favorite topic of conversation and mocking.
Alternately sharing their impersonations of the "Tonight Show" host — for the record, O'Brien does a much better Leno — Letterman and O'Brien also discussed O'Brien's pre-"Tonight Show" fiasco relationship with Leno.
"Did you feel a kinship, camaraderie?" with Leno, Letterman asked the "Conan" host.
"Uhhhhhhh, it's a busy world, I come from a large family," O'Brien stammered. "No, I would say, up until this event, we didn't have that much in common. We're quite different fellows, he and I.

"I don't own many automobiles that were made before 1904 … primarily of brass and leather …"
A cackling Letterman responded, "Now we're going … now we're getting someplace."
"There are very few ways — and I'm not saying this in a disparaging way at all — there are very few ways in which he and I relate … we're not interested in the same things," O'Brien continued, before he and Letterman busted out simultaneous Leno impressions.
