Conan O’Brien and David Letterman Do Dueling Jay Leno Impersonations (Video)

O'Brien on Leno: "There are very few ways in which he and I relate … we're not interested in the same things"

If Jay Leno didn't watch Conan O'Brien's appearance on "The Late Show With David Letterman" last night, his ears had to be burning, as he was the two late-night hosts' favorite topic of conversation and mocking.

Alternately sharing their impersonations of the "Tonight Show" host — for the record, O'Brien does a much better Leno — Letterman and O'Brien also discussed O'Brien's pre-"Tonight Show" fiasco relationship with Leno.

"Did you feel a kinship, camaraderie?" with Leno, Letterman asked the "Conan" host.

"Uhhhhhhh, it's a busy world, I come from a large family," O'Brien stammered. "No, I would say, up until this event, we didn't have that much in common. We're quite different fellows, he and I.

"I don't own many automobiles that were made before 1904 … primarily of brass and leather …"

A cackling Letterman responded, "Now we're going … now we're getting someplace."

"There are very few ways — and I'm not saying this in a disparaging way at all — there are very few ways in which he and I relate … we're not interested in the same things," O'Brien continued, before he and Letterman busted out simultaneous Leno impressions.
