Comic Con: ‘Wreck-It Ralph’ Scores with Skrillex; Alan Tudyk Joins Cast

Disney's "Wreck-It Ralph" will have special appeal to electronic dance fans thanks to director Rich Moore's taste in music.

Moore announced Thursday at Comic-Con that he had tapped American-born DJ Skrillex (real name Sonny Moore, no relation), to score scenes in Disney's animated film, because he is "one of my favorite performers.”

The Los Angeles musician, known for hits like “Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites,” won three awards at this year's Grammy Awards.

Moore took the stage after Tim Burton and Sam Raimi to air a 10-minute clip of this film, which opens in theaters Nov. 2.

Just after screening the clip, Moore also announced that Alan Tudyk (“Serenity," “Dodgeball”) joined the voice cast for the movie about a villain from an arcade video game who is tired of being the bad guy.

Moore then took audience questions alongside John C. Reilly and Sarah Silverman, who along with Jane Lynch and Jack McBrayer lend their voices to the movie.

Reilly drew the biggest laughs, responding to a few of the very earnest fans including one, wearing a headset, who asked if it was difficult balancing two different personalities.

"No, because I'm a Gemini," Reilly said. "I feel like that question was beamed into your ear. I want to know the one you wanted to ask, not the one beamed in from your superiors."

Then, after Moore responded to a query about whether it cost a lot of money to get the rights to use different iconic video game characters, Reilly jumped in.

"If you're the Frogger guy and you have a game about a frog crossing the road — that's not that popular any more — and you get a call at home from Rich Moore saying we're making a multimillion-dollar movie… it's a pretty easy answer."
