Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart were all at Comic-Con on Thursday, but "Twilight' director Bill Condon was not. In his stead, he gave fans a special treat.
Condon, in London finishing "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part II," sent in a video message to the panel with the first seven minutes of the series finale.
“We’ve been thinking a long time about what to do today to make things a little different,” Condon said. “Everyone knows the phenomenon of ‘Twilight’ exploded here.
“Instead of a couple scenes from the movie, we are going to show you the first seven minutes.”

Though he cautioned that all of the visual effects are temporary, he was willing to show some effects-heavy sequences.
That included Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart on the hunt, with Stewart taking down a fierce big cat. It also opened with Stewart’s Bella and Robert Pattinson’s Edward together now that Stewart is a vampire, red-eyed and all.
When asked what she most looked forward to about taking on this new challenge, Stewart said “It felt so good to break her in, to see how fast the car goes.”
