Let's try this again, Comic-Con fans.
The San Diego festival's servers crashed last Monday moments after registration opened, and was postponed indefinitely. In a bit of irony, the world's biggest geek-fest said it couldn't figure out what was wrong with the website.
Apparently they brought in some even bigger geeks to fix the problem — now open registration is set for Nov. 22 (two weeks from Monday).
Better get ready; there are a limited number of badges, and the Con's servers being overwhelmed is a pretty clear tell that demand is higher than ever.
Comic-Con 2011 is scheduled for July 21-24.
