On Monday’s “The Late Show,” Stephen Colbert mocked Donald Trump’s insults about Baltimore over the weekend with a parody of “God Bless America.”

During his monologue, Colbert brought back his “Is Donald Trump Racist?” bit to talk about Trump’s Twitter rant against Maryland Rep. Elijah Cummings — current chair of the House Committee on Oversight and Reform who has strongly criticized conditions at the U.S.-Mexico border. Trump called him a “brutal bully” and said Cummings’ Baltimore district is a “very dangerous & filthy place.

After noting that Trump is president of the United States and that Baltimore is in the United States, Colbert dropped his “God Bless America” parody. “God bless America, except Baltimore,” went the new lyrics. “They got rats there, no MAGA hats there, I avoid it because they are poor.”

Next, Colbert looked at Trump’s response to critics of his comments, in which Trump tweeted that he is not racist, that people only call him racist because they can’t rebut his ideas, and that he thinks Elijah Cummings is racist.

“I’m not the racist, he’s the racist,” Colbert said in his fake Trump accent. “After all, I wouldn’t have said anything racist at all if he was white.”
