Conan O’Brien was out of his league and out of his weight class on the latest installment of “Clueless Gamer.”
The TBS late-night show host challenged UFC star Conor McGregor to bring his gaming skills into the virtual octagon on Thursday night. That was a bad call-out, O’Brien soon learned.
Playing as digital versions of themselves in “UFC 2,” the “Conan” host continuously got his face pummeled. The back-to-back one-sided beatdowns must have felt good to McGregor, who recently lost a real mixed martial arts fight to Nate Diaz.
Later, McGregor showed the far-taller funnyman how he’d actually manhandle him in real life. That would be even uglier.
“I was actually in a fight once in my life a long time ago,” O’Brien closed down the very Irish segment. “I got the shit kicked out of me, and I didn’t enjoy that. This, I enjoyed.”
Watch the video above, if for nothing else than to see the “UFC 2” created version of Conan.
