Larry David can't believe Jon Hamm wants to name a new electric car "the Howard" in the newest and longest look at HBO's "Clear History," yet.
In the upcoming feature-length comedy directed by Greg Mottola ("Superbad"), David plays a marketing executive who gives up his stock in a start-up electric-car company after a petty argument with his boss, played by Hamm.

The petty argument may or may not be over the name of the company's product, which ends up making the company billions of dollars, while David's is publiclity humiliated after making a decision that leaves his life in shambles.
Ten years later, David has changed his name and moved to a small island off the coast of Massachusetts, where all is well until something from his past threatens the new life he's made for himself.
Kate Hudson, Danny McBride, Bill Hader, Michael Keaton, Eva Mendes, Amy Ryan, Phillip Baker Hall and JB Smoove also star in the movie premiering Aug. 10 on the premium cable network.
