Add another entry into the seemingly endless he-said, she-said exchange surrounding Bobbi Kristina Brown’s condition.

Just hours after an attorney for Bobby Brown — Bobbi Kristina’s father — issued a statement saying that the 22-year-old has shown “improvement,” Bobbi Kristina’s grandmother Cissy Houston pretty much dashed any hopes for a happy ending.

Houston told TMZ on Monday that the daughter of Brown and deceased singer Whitney Houston is no longer in a medically induced coma. However, Houston said, Bobbi Kristina has “global and irreversible brain damage.”

“I have just returned from visiting my granddaughter Bobbi Kristina in the hospital and while she is no longer in a medically induced coma she has a tracheotomy and according to the doctors she has ‘global and irreversible brain damage’ and remains unresponsive,” Houston said.

She added, “We can only trust in God for a miracle at this time. Keep us in your prayers.”

Bobby Brown made headlines over the weekend after a Saturday concert in Grand Prairie, Texas, when he asserted, “Bobbi is awake. She’s watching me.”

Various media outlets citing family sources on Monday ran contradictory reports stating that Bobbi Kristina’s condition had not changed.

The younger Brown was found face-down and unresponsive in the bathtub at her Georgia home on Jan. 31, and was placed on life support. Bobbi Kristina was recently transferred from Emory University Hospital to an undisclosed facility for rehabilitation.
