CNN’s Chuck Todd, who joined the network after departing NBC News in January, warned that Democrat stalwarts Chuck Schumer and House Minority Leader Hakim Jeffries should be in “fear” of a “left-wing Tea Party” given the growing anger inside the base over the perceived inability to thwart President Trump.

While speaking on “The Arena” with Kasie Hunt Friday, Todd said, “Jefferies and Schumer acting paralyzed because they have two different constituencies. They have ones who are worried about a left wing tea party, and they should be worried about that because I do think this anger inside the base is real.”
