While Christian Bale was only announced as in talks to play Steve Jobs in Danny Boyle‘s upcoming biopic on Wednesday, Conan O’Brien almost immediately had a trailer for the film on TBS’s “Conan.” The scenes certainly looked familiar, though, with Jobs resembling a certain Gotham City caped crusader.
O’Brien tweaked footage from Christopher Nolan‘s “Dark Knight” trilogy, casting Tom Hardy’s Bane as Bill Gates, while Michael Caine‘s Alfred Pennyworth gets credit for creating the mouse with the “little clicky button.”

In an early scene where Bales’ Bruce Wayne was creating batarangs, O’Brien replaced the bat with the Apple logo. “I’m afraid of apples,” Bale explained to his inquisitive butler.
The classics “Swear to me!” line was altered with Bat-Jobs yelling at the criminal, “Switch to Mac!”
It certainly looks like an exciting version of the events surrounding the early days of the computer revolution, but we’re suspicious of its veracity.
