Model Chrissy Teigen made more headlines with her tweets on Sunday, calling Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump a “twat” on Twitter.
Trump took to the social media platform to announce his meeting with “a large group of African American pastors” on Monday, making sure to state that it’s “not a press event.”
Teigen, who is celebrating her 30th birthday on Monday, voiced her opinions about the presidential candidate, saying, “@realDonaldTrump so don’t tweet about it you twat.”
Teigen engaged in a full-scale Twitter feud with one particular user after expressing her support for Planned Parenthood following the deadly shooting in Colorado on Friday that left three dead.
The model and “Lip Sync Battle” co-host said she and husband John Legend were donating to the organization in the wake of the siege.
“Every time shit like this happens, john and I immediately make another donation to planned parenthood,” Teigen wrote Friday, amid reports of the Colorado Springs shooting. She later posted a link encouraging others to donate to the organization.
In response user Carlos Soto wrote, “@chrissyteigen all your brains must be elsewhere in your body! #PlannedParenthood #idiots #MoronAlert #nobrains.” Teigen replied: “so is it no brains or are they elsewhere in my body, carlos?”
Responses to her tweet about Trump haven’t been friendly either, but Teigen isn’t backing down. One follow-up tweet of hers to another Twitter critic read, “you have the definition of a punchable face.”
