Chris Pine will be filling Harrison Ford‘s shoes as “Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit” in theaters this weekend, and the blue-eyed actor proved he might be able to portray Frank Sinatra one day when he sang a few verses from “Fly Me to the Moon” for Jimmy Kimmel on Thursday.
The impromptu performance (above) was spurred by Wednesday’s guest, Meryl Streep, who told Kimmel that her “Into the Woods” co-star was “a great singer.”

“I’m a shower singer, for sure,” Pine said. “But I have to tell you something. If you think you’re a good singer in the shower, it’s a big fat lie, because the acoustics of bathrooms are incredible.”
“But it seems like it works out for you once you exited the shower,” Kimmel said. “Would you be so kind? Meryl said you should sing a little something for us.”
