The latest poster for the big-screen superhero offering "Thor" gives further indication of how the film's star, Australian "Star Trek" actor Chris Hemsworth, will interpret the mythical role. Goodbye, winged helmet; hello, rugged facial hair.
And, as might be expected for a temperamental, hammer-wielding god of thunder, the entire image is marinated in blood-like tones.
"Thor," which also stars Natalie Portman and Sir Anthony Hopkins, hits theaters on May 6.
