NBC’s “Chicago Fire” saw its fall finale stay flat from last week, tying a season low. Even so, the rest of NBC’s “Voice”-led Tuesday lineup ticked up, handing the network a win in the advertiser-sought 18-49 demographic.
CBS finished first in total viewers, despite airing entirely reruns.
NBC was first in ratings with a 1.8 rating/5 share in the key demo and first in viewers with an average of 7.7 million, according to preliminary numbers. “The Voice” at 8 p.m. earned a 2.6/8 — a night-high — and 11.1 million viewers. “Marry Me” at 9 rose 27 percent from last week to a 1.4/4 and 5 million viewers. “About a Boy” at 9:30 had a 1.1/3 and 4.3 million viewers. “Chicago Fire” at 10 got a 1.6/5 and 7.3 million viewers.
ABC was second in ratings with a 1.7/5 and third in viewers with 5.8 million. At 8, the special “Toy Story That Time Forgot” received a 1.9/6 and 6.8 million viewers. Following a rerun airing of “Charlie Brown Christmas,” “Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD” at 9 ticked up to a 1.8/5 and 6.8 million viewers. “Forever” at 10 rose 20 percent to a 1.2/4 and 5.2 million viewers.
Fox was third in ratings with a 1.4/4 and fourth in viewers with 3.8 million. “MasterChef Junior” at 8 received a 1.6/5 and 4.9 million viewers. “New Girl” at 9 got a 1.4/4 and 3 million viewers. “The Mindy Project” at 9:30 had a 1.1/3 and 2.5 million viewers.
CBS and Univision tied for fourth in ratings, both with a 1.3/4. CBS was first in viewers with 9.7 million viewers, Univision was sixth with 3.2 million.
The CW was sixth in ratings with a 1.2/4 and fifth in total viewers with 3.3 million. “The Flash” at 8 received a 1.5/5 and 4.2 million viewers. “Supernatural” at 9 had a 0.9/3 and 2.4 million viewers.
Telemundo was seventh in ratings with a 0.6/2 and in total viewers with 1.3 million.
