Charlie Sheen Misses ‘Two and a Half Men’ Call Time

Actor had an ear infection and went to doctor’s office, rep says — will be on set Wednesday afternoon

Charlie Sheen missed his “Two and a Half Men” call time this morning due to an ear infection, according to a Sheen representative.

“It’s not something you decide to take care of tomorrow. It was an ear infection, he went to the doctor,” Charlie’s publicist Stan Rosenfield told TheWrap. He added that Sheen is expected to return to set this afternoon when he’s through at the doctor.

Sheen, television’s highest-paid actor, came perilously close to missing his call time Tuesday, after he reportedly went on a vodka-fueled binge in Las Vegas with three porn stars over the weekend.

Following those reports, a senior executive with knowledge of the situation told TheWrap that both CBS and Warner Bros. Television are “worried” about Sheen and have been in dialogue about how to deal with him.

Sheen has battled addiction and had several encounters with the law and rehab over the years, and his weekend in Las Vegas marks his third publicized erratic incident involving possible substance abuse in just over a year.  He’s appearing in the news for all the wrong reasons at an accelerated – and to many alarming –  pace.
