Charlie Sheen: A Little Jealous of Donald Trump?

Actor borrows The Donald’s lines in D.C. appearance

It's always hard when a new national fixation steals your limelight.

Which may explain Charlie Sheen cribbing from Donald Trump during the Washington, D.C., stop on Sheen's Violent Torpedo of Truth Tour. Sheen, like Trump, pondered a run for president and questioned the current president's eligibility to serve.

"For starters, I was f—ing born here, how about that? And I got proof! Nothing Photoshopped about my birth certificate,” Sheen said, according to Fox News.

The Washington Post reported that the line drew "boisterous applause" from the near-capacity crowd at 3,700 seat venue.

Of course, it was unclear whether they were applauding the sentiment or just Sheen saying inflammatory things. At one point during the show, as Sheen lulled into a genuine story about something not involving warlocks or cocaine, a heckler yelled, "“SHUT THE [EXPLETIVE] UP AND SAY SOMETHING WEIRD,” according to the Post.

Sheen arrived late for the show after attending a Los Angeles court hearing in which he tried to win custody of his 2-year-old twins with soon-to-be-ex-wife Brooke Mueller. The judge elected to leave them in her care.
