It’s Tatum v. Tatum when Spike’s “Lip Sync Battle” returns next month — may the best good-looking person win.
Channing Tatum and wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum will trade silent lyrical blows Jan. 7 on the “Tonight Show” competition-turned cable TV series. And by the looks of the teaser, the battle will be an all-out war.
It appears Channing will go full Elsa from “Frozen,” likely dropping “Let It Go” in complete costume. In return, Jenna mocks her man while donning full “Magic Mike” garb.
Dubbed the “Tatum Takeover,” the full hour of “Lip Sync Battle” promises big surprises and special guests. The husband Tatum is doing the rounds promoting the new Quentin Tarantino movie, “The Hateful Eight,” which moseys into theaters in limited 70mm release on Christmas Day before going wide Jan. 1.
“Lip Sync Battle” is LL Cool J and Chrissy Teigen. The series is executive produced by Casey Patterson, Jay Peterson of Matador Content, John Krasinski, Stephen Merchant, and Eight Million Plus Productions.
