CBS Sets Premiere Dates for Vince Gilligan’s ‘Battle Creek,’ ‘CSI: Cyber’

Both dramas will premiere in early March

“Battle Creek,” the new CBS drama from “Breaking Bad” boss Vince Gilligan and “House” honcho David Shore, will premiere Sunday, March 1 at 10 p.m.

Meanwhile, the new “CSI” spinoff, “CSI: Cyber,” will debut Wednesday, March 4 at 10 p.m., the network said Friday.

The scheduling of the premieres are part of the network’s ongoing effort to deliver more original programming year-round.

The premiere dates also mark an about-face for CBS, which earlier this year said that “CSI: Cyber” would air on Sundays. However, the change means that “Battle Creek” will now be paired with the kindred series “The Good Wife” and “Madam Secretary,” while “CSI: Cyber” will likewise be matched with the similar “Criminal Minds.”

The premiere of “CSI: Cyber” will also temporarily bump the freshman drama “Stalker” from the network’s schedule. The series, which stars Dylan McDermott and Maggie Q, will still have a handful of episodes to air from its first season, which will now air later in the season.

“Battle Creek” stars Josh Duhamel and Dean Winters as two mismatched law enforcement officers whose polar opposite views of the world and crime-solving breed frustration, disdain and humor as they clean up the hardscrabble streets of Battle Creek, Michigan.

“CSI: Cyber,” meanwhile, stars Patricia Arquette as the head of the Cyber Crime Division of the FBI.
