CBS Renews 18 Shows, Is In Talks for ‘Two and a Half Men’ Return

"2 Broke Girls," "CSI" among returning shows

In a major vote of confidence in its primetime roster, CBS has renewed 18 shows, including "2 Broke Girls," "NCIS: Los Angeles," and the new series "Elementary."

The network also said it is in talks about bringing back "Two and a Half Men." It offered no word on the fate of "Vegas," a freshman series recently moved to Fridays, or the new "Golden Boy," which took over its Tuesday timeslot.

The renewals mean CBS is taking an if-it-ain't-broke approach to programming, as it usually does. It is both the most watched network this season and the top-rated in the key 18-49 demographic.

Among comedies, the network also renewed "Mike & Molly," and has previously announced the renewals of "The Big Bang Theory" and "How I Met Your Mother," which is entering its final season.

As for dramas, it renewed "Hawaii Five-0," "The Mentalist," "Blue Bloods" and "The Good Wife." Those series will be joined next season by "NCIS" and "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," which were previously renewed.

The network's long-running reality offering "Survivor" has also earned another season, as have "The Amazing Race" and "Undercover Boss."

The news offerings "60 Minutes" and "48 Hours" have also been renewed.
