CBS has given series orders to the spinoff “NCIS: New Orleans,” as well as the Kevin Williamson drama “Stalker,” “Scorpion” and “Madam Secretary.” The drama orders follow the previously announced season order for “Battle Creek,” from “Breaking Bad” boss Vince Gilligan and “House” creator David Shore.
On the comedy side, the network has given series orders to a reboot of “The Odd Couple,” from former “Friends” star Matthew Perry, and “The McCarthys.”

“NCIS: New Orleans” moves the action to the southern office, which handles cases from Pensacola through Mississippi and Louisiana to the Texas panhandle. The cast includes Scott Bakula, “JAG” alum Zoe McLellan and “Sons of Anarchy” alum CCH Pounder.
“Stalker,” which is written and produced by Williamson, is a psychological thriller centered around a pair of detectives who handle stalking incidents for the Threat Management Unit of the LAPD. Dylan McDermott stars as Det. Jack Larsen in the series, which is produced by Warner Bros. Television and Outerbanks Entertainment.

Written by Barbara Hall (“Judging Amy”), “Madam Secretary” is about the personal and professional life of a maverick female Secretary of State as she drives international diplomacy, wrangles office politics and balances a complex family life. Along with Hall, Morgan Freeman, Lori McCreary and Tracy Mercer are producing. Tea Leoni and Tim Daly star.
“Scorpion,” from writer Nick Santora (“Prison Break”), follows an eccentric genius and his international network of super geniuses forming the last line of defense against the complex threats of the modern age.
Matthew Perry co-wrote and will star in “The Odd Couple,” a half-hour, multi-camera comedy based on Neil Simon’s story about a pair of mismatched roommates. The series comes from CBS Television Studios.
“The McCarthys,” a family comedy about a loud, sports-crazed Boston clan, is written by Brian Gallivan (“Are You There, Chelsea?”) and Mike Sikowitz, the latter of whom will serve as showrunner. Will Gluck (“Easy A”) and Richie Schwartz are producing the Sony Pictures Television and Olive Bridge Entertainment production.
