Catherine Zeta-Jones and Judy Greer are joining Nu Image/Millennium's "Playing the Field," a sports comedy starring Gerard Butler, TheWrap has confirmed.
"Playing the Field" stars Butler as a former pro soccer player who runs into trouble when he coaches his son's youth team and starts getting involved with the moms.
Zeta-Jones (left) will play a television newswoman. Greer (below) will play a housewife.
The film also stars Uma Thurman, Dennis Quaid and Jessica Biel.
Butler, Heidi Jo Markel, Kevin Misher, Jonathan Mostow and Alan Siegel are producing.

"Playing the Field" originally was to be a baseball movie called "Confessions of a Little League Coach."
But interest in the 2010 World Cub convinced producers to switch sports.
And Butler, who is from Scotland, may make a more convincing soccer coach than baseball coach.
Robbie Fox ("So I Married an Axe Murderer") wrote the script. Gabriele Muccino is directing.
Zeta-Jones is repped by WME.
Greer is repped by CAA.
Zeta-Jones is also starring with Bruce Willis, Rebecca Hall and Justin Timberlake in Stephen Frears' "Lay the Favorite," which is due out from Focus next year.
